The fasion show took place on Tuesday 16th September at the Savoy Hotel in London.

It was an amazing experience, and I was able to partake in activities such as making the backdrop for the catwalk, filling the gift bags that were given to guests and I also spent a large proportion of the day backstage, helping models with things such as organising their shoes for the catwalk.

The main message behind the show was to ‘stop fucking the planet’. This phrase was played before the show started and it was written on some garments as well as the press releases that were found in the gift bags. VIN + OMI are a sustainable brand, and so the garments in the collection had motifs such as recycling symbols and animals on them, to reinforce what the brand stands for.

The show was extremely enjoyable to watch; well worth the hours of hard work and preparation. The models had so much energy and the garments felt very dynamic, the atmosphere during the show was full of excitement.
